System Requirments - top

  1. Website Hosting Service: A shared server could be fine during preparation and testing, but I highly recommend you upgrade to a VPS server for best performance after implementation. (For testing you can use your local server).
  2. WordPress: 4.9 or higher: A fresh installation is highly recommended.
  3. WooCommerce: 3.4 or higher: You do not need to install this, Norsani will automatically install it for you during installation.

Installation - top

  1. Log-in to your WordPress admin area and go to Plugins > Add New.
  2. Browse to the frozr-norsani.zip file and select it.
  3. Click Install and after installation completes click Activate to activte Norsani.

Norsani automatically installs and activates WooCommerce plugin, FrozrDash theme (the native theme for Norsani), and the FrozrDash Child Theme. Norsani also automatically directs you to the Norsani help center after activation.

After installation, all WooCommerce and Norsani settings are set to default like your base country, website currency, accepted payments, taxes, fees and commissions..etc. Now you should take your time to review all the WooCommerce and Norsani settings to implement the system according to your needs. Please go through Norsani's settings and (if not already done) go through WooCommerce settings.

If you wish to install the demo data you can simply do that with one click form the Norsani help center.

Setting your Google API ke - top

Norsani mainly uses Google Geolocation service to detect users location for delivery service and calculate delivery fee and duration, so it is very important to get your Google API key and set it in "Google API Key" field in Norsani's general settings page.

If you already have a Google API key please ensure you have the Distance Matrix API, Geocoding API, and Maps JavaScript API enabled on your project.

Follow these steps to get your key:

  1. Go to the Google Cloud Platform Console.
  2. Create or select a project.
  3. Click Continue to enable the API and any related services. Make sure you enable the Distance Matrix API, Geocoding API, and Maps JavaScript API
  4. On the Credentials page, get an API key.Note: If you have an existing unrestricted API key, or a key with browser restrictions, you may use that key.
  5. From the dialog displaying the API key, select Restrict key to set a browser restriction on the API key.
  6. In the Key restriction section, select HTTP referrers (web sites), then follow the on-screen instructions to set referrers.
  7. (Optional) Enable billing. See Usage Limits for more information.
